Keep up with what's going on at GSG Radio right here on this Blogger. It will be updated as often as possible. I will post Station happenings, or other things that may be of interest. Betty
Hello,
Goodbye, So Long, Farewell. GSG Radio is going off the air. I have fought the fight as long as I could. I can no longer run the race. Pressing toward the mark is out of the question now. My faith grows dim.
Since early November I have been disabled to work, and following Doctors orders, filed for disability income and Medicaid. Major heart trouble and macular degeneration are the main culprits both complicated by diabetes. My wife is working but I can’t. I have gone a long time without any income, and according to the Disability Determination Services I have a while to go before a decision is made. My bills continue, including rent, car payment, insurance, 13 prescriptions, groceries, Internet, etc… My savings is gone, my wife can’t afford everything, and my son has done about all he can do. Tony Partigianoni, Linwood Grant, Marla Conrad, and Tabitha Williard have been so kind to provide my wife and I with financial gifts. But the time has now come to decide which medicines to keep and which ones to do without? How few groceries can we get by with? Can we get by without doing laundry this week? Do I buy a quart of oil or a gallon of gas? So you see the station must go as well as the Internet connection.
I will notify the record labels this week about my decision. The station has had a good run and has averaged 60,000 to 65,000 listeners each week. Truly heard all over the World, hopefully someday we can bring it back.
May God Bless,
Randy Renigar
