While surfing through one of my favorite SG Message Boards the other day, I came across this post. The topic was Internet Radio Stations.

gsgradio, It has truly been a God Send for me. Thanks for the hard work. I believe great is your reward for the lives you and others in Gospel music radio/internet radio have touched. The money here on earth may not be much but you are storing riches in glory.

Tuesday I received an uplifting email. Following is an excerpt from it.

To whom it may concern,

 First I would like to say thank you for the music you are playing. I get to listen to great southern gospel music in an area in the country, Atlanta Ga, where there is not a good radio station in the immediate area that plays MY kind of music. Again I say thank you.   

Shucks, a few more kind words like the above and I might get the big-head, you know, kind of like Betty Tilley after she does well in a talent contest.

Seriously though, it does one well to receive good comments that are unsolicited. It shows that their work is bearing fruit and reinforces their determination to keep on keeping on.

Think of the Pastors who Preach week after week after week, but hardly ever see any movement toward the altar. Then, one Sunday, a Soul is Saved, a life is changed. It is that kind of feeling.

Think of the Bus worker who spends their every Saturday off, going door to door, trying to build their bus route. Weeks, and sometimes Months, pass to no avail. Then, one Sunday morning a new face boards their bus. It is that kind of feeling.

There are tons of other examples that could be used; however everyone reading this knows the importance of supporting each other in their varied Ministries. Regardless of what part of the Ministry the Lord has put you in; a kind word goes a long way to help you keep pumping, even when the well seems to be dry. After all, as the scripture says, we shall reap, if we feint not.

I have had problems in the past getting service from Airplay Radio Promotions. Earl Galloway, of Airplay, was finally to send me a package of releases. They never showed up in my mailbox. After contacting Earl again, he sent out another package. After about 12-days passed, I still had not received the second package so I called him once again. This time, to his credit, he FedExed an overnight package to my physical address. Wow, what a package it was! It was loaded with compilations and the Galloways newest project. On the very next day the second missing package showed up at my P.O. Box. Earl definitely went the extra mile for his artists by working hard to get their releases to me. Kudo’s for a job well done. 

Gary Wilson, of the SGUSA Countdown Show, Candace Moore, and myself are the voices you hear doing the liners on GSG Radio. Soon we will be adding another voice to our liners. Who, you may ask, will it be? Jonathan White, who released The Passion Of The Christ and Seven Little Angels, is recording a few liners for GSG Radio. During a phone conversation with him the other day, I asked him to do this and, without hesitation, he said he would. So, he is taking time from his busy schedule to do this for GSG Radio. Thanks Jonathan!
